Ian is a graduate of the Brantford Collegiate Institute Laurier program, which placed a heavy emphasis on public speaking and acting. He acted extensively through high school involving acting and singing. After graduating high school he found a niche for himself as a sex object in FASS productions associated with the University of Waterloo. Perhaps his favourite role of all time was as Mr. Bumble in a high school production of Oliver, although he fears facial hair is no longer an option after a dozen shows wearing spirit gum mutton chops.
