Chris Klein as Oscar

Chris Klein has been active on stage with KWLT, FASS and other local theatre groups for over a decade. This is his first foray with TenBareToes, but not with Anita Kilgour: in 2003 he played Brabantio in her production of Othello, and he is thrilled to be working with her once again.

More recently, Chris has played a man with two lives as Jack Worthing in The Importance of Being Earnest (KWLT, 2008), and a man with two wives as Macheath in The Beggar’s Opera (KWLT, 2009). Now, as Oscar Madison, Chris gets to portray someone not a little like his own self.

Outside of the theatre, Chris is a manager at a local software company and an avid homebrewer. He shares an old house in Kitchener with seven birds, six fish, and one purple-haired glass artist.
