We were disappointed. As theatre people ourselves (I personally have stage managed extensively), we were surprised that "the show [didn't] go on". As a new group, I think that in the future, you ought to plan ways to make a show work even if a (lead) actor cannot perform, so as to not disappoint patrons. Tonight was the only night we were able to come see the performance, so as a result we were left in the cold. A friend and I drove to see the show tonight and saw the handwritten note on the door.
